Team & settings

Your studio has shared settings and two team roles: owner and staff. The person operating the deployment also looks after hosting and service credentials, whether or not they do the studio's photography work.

Team access

Owners invite and manage members under Settings → Team. Invite the address the person will use to sign in, and choose their role. Staff work with clients and projects. Owners also manage the team, connections, packages, portfolio assignments, marketing changes and sends, and the shop catalog.

Members can be invited, active or disabled. Disabling access prevents further studio access. Each team member should use their own sign-in and authenticator app.

Client invitations are separate: use the project's client-page controls rather than adding clients to the studio team.

Shared settings

Business settings include the studio's public identity, contact information, email sender name, reply-to address and automatic client reminder preference. Availability and calendar settings affect the whole studio's scheduling.

Some settings, including business information, site design and Search & AI, use drafts and published versions. Save a draft while preparing changes; publish to make them live. Restoring a version puts it into a draft that must be published again.

Staff can edit some shared settings, including business information, design and Search & AI. Coordinate these changes with your team rather than assuming all settings are restricted to owners.

Connections and failed tasks

Settings → Connections shows integration state and work that failed in the background. The owner configures service connections, while the deployment operator handles environment variables and provider-side setup.

When a task fails, read the error and fix the cause before retrying. Email delivery, calendar updates, photo processing and campaigns may involve background work, so a saved change and its external effect can happen at different times.

Activity and ownership

Use Activity and project timelines to understand changes made in the studio. Keep at least one working owner account, and have the deployment operator maintain backups and recovery information for the connected services.
