Your photography business, in one place
Zone 5 brings your public website and your studio's day-to-day work together. Show your photographs, welcome new inquiries, organize client projects, send the paperwork, collect payments and deliver the finished images from one system.
The idea at its center is a project: one job, with its people, conversations, estimates, contracts, sessions, invoices and galleries kept together.
Who it's for
Zone 5 is for independent photographers and small photography teams who want a connected way to run their studio. A family session, a wedding and an event can each have their own project while sharing the same contacts, photo library and studio settings.
Two paths through these docs help you get started:
- Getting Started for Owners — install and deploy your own instance, connect the services it needs and invite your team. This path is for whoever operates the system, whether that's the photographer or a technical partner.
- Getting Started for Users — sign in to an existing studio and take your first photography job from inquiry to delivery. No deployment knowledge needed.
What you can do
| Part of your business | What Zone 5 provides |
|---|---|
| Your public presence | A portfolio, website layouts, colors and fonts, business information and an inquiry form. |
| Client work | Contacts and projects with estimates, online contract signing, bookings and a private client page. |
| Scheduling | Packages, working hours, buffers, time off, held bookings and an optional Google Calendar connection. |
| Money | Invoices, deposits, recorded offline payments, Stripe card payments, refunds and income tracking. |
| Photo delivery | A photo library, albums and protected client galleries with optional original downloads and print ordering. |
| Staying in touch | Project conversations, email replies, automatic follow-ups and marketing campaigns built from audience segments and templates. |
| Selling prints | A public print shop, shared print sizes, gallery pricing and Stripe checkout. Orders are currently placed with the print lab manually. |
| Discovery | Page titles and descriptions, share images, business details and controls for search and AI crawlers. |
Some capabilities need an outside service to be connected. The owner guide explains which services support each part of the system.
Three places to work together
Your website is where visitors see your work, inquire about a session and browse your open shop.
Your studio workspace is where you and your team manage the business after signing in.
Your client's page is where invited clients accept estimates, sign contracts, see sessions, pay invoices and find their galleries. Gallery guests can also use a separate gallery link and passcode.
