Contracts

A contract holds the agreement for a project and its signature record. Create it from the project with New contract. Your studio supplies and reviews the wording; Zone 5 supplies the drafting, delivery and signing workflow.

Templates and drafts

Owners can maintain reusable wording under Contracts → Templates. A contract made from a template receives its own copy, so later template edits do not change existing agreements.

Templates can fill fields from the project, such as the client name, project title, session date and location. If a required value is missing, fill in the project details or adjust the draft before sending.

Choose the client signers and decide whether the studio will countersign. Review the complete text, not just the template name.

Sending and signing

Send for signature fixes the current version and emails each signer. Clients sign in to their client page, review the agreement, consent and type their name. The record keeps who signed, when and the version they signed.

Clients can sign in any order. If you require a studio countersignature, add it after all client signatures. Everyone is notified when signing is complete.

Revisions and copies

Revising a sent, partly signed or declined agreement creates a new draft. Earlier versions and their signatures stay on record, and everyone must sign the new version. A fully signed agreement requires a new agreement for subsequent changes.

Clients can open the agreement and its signature record on their client page and use their browser to print or save a copy. Automatically generated PDF attachments are not currently provided.

A booking can wait for all client signatures. Its confirmation requirement does not wait for the studio's countersignature.
