Marketing
Marketing sends campaign email to an audience drawn from your contacts. It connects three ideas: a segment chooses the people, a template supplies the message design and a campaign brings them together for a send.
Owners create and change marketing content and send campaigns. Staff can view the marketing area. The operator needs to configure Resend with the API access and webhook events described in the owner guide.
1. Save a segment
Open Marketing → Segments. Give the audience a useful name and choose its rules. Rules can use contact lifecycle, tags, when a person was added and past bookings, including session type or package.
For example, a segment could find people with a family session in the last 18 months. It is evaluated against current records when used. Archived contacts, missing email addresses and unsubscribed addresses are excluded, and a shared email address is counted once.
2. Prepare a template
Open Marketing → Templates to create the message using blocks or HTML. Templates are stored through Resend. You can also work on them in Resend's own editor.
Block templates support headings, paragraphs, images, buttons, package cards and dividers. Images selected from Photos become public; private client-gallery albums are unavailable.
Save and publish the template before using it in a campaign. Templates need an unsubscribe link; block templates include one. You can send yourself a template test and review its package information before preparing the campaign.
3. Prepare and send the campaign
Choose New campaign, select the segment and published template, enter the subject and preview text, and choose any packages or template values.
Review the rendered email, missing-value warnings and audience count. The list is fixed when you send, so later changes to the segment do not rewrite a campaign's history. Sending queues background work; the message does not necessarily leave the system immediately.
The current campaign screen supports sending now. Scheduled sending is not yet exposed in that screen.
4. Review the outcome
The campaign page keeps the content as sent and recipient delivery states. A client's contact page also lists marketing email sent to them. If processing stalls, inspect the campaign error and failed background tasks in Connections.
Unsubscribe events are synchronized from Resend. Use Unsubscribes on the Marketing page to synchronize opt-outs when needed. Zone 5 does not record how someone originally agreed to receive campaigns; keep that information in your studio's own process.
For a conversation about an individual job, use Messages.
