SEO & AI discovery

Settings → Search & AI controls how the public website describes itself to search engines, link previews and AI assistants. SEO means search engine optimization: giving those services clear information about the pages you publish.

Describe the site and its pages

Set the site's title, description and default share image. Add page and category titles and descriptions where more specific wording is useful. Describe the photography and location accurately in language clients would recognize.

The share image is used when someone shares a link. A 1200 × 630 image is a useful starting point; keep the important subject away from edges that previews may crop. A page can use its own image or fall back to the site's default.

Business information and verification

Fill in public business details such as your service area and relevant links. Leave out a street address if clients do not visit it.

To verify ownership in Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools, choose their HTML-tag method and copy the verification value from the tag's content attribute into the corresponding field. Publish, then complete verification in the search service.

Search and AI controls

The AI settings distinguish search crawlers from training crawlers. Search access supports discovery and a plain-language site summary at /llms.txt. Training preferences can be set separately. Crawler preferences are requests expressed by the website; they do not provide access control.

Agent tools can help a visitor's browser look up public services, packages and open times and prepare a booking inquiry. The visitor submits the inquiry themselves.

These settings concern public information. They do not make private client pages or galleries public.

Publish and review

Save your changes as a draft, review them and publish to apply them to the live site. Restoring an older version places it in the draft first; publish again to use it.

Search engines and social networks may take time to refresh their copies. For a staging site that should stay out of search, ask the operator to check the deployment's SEARCH_INDEXING setting too.
